बजेट लोकाभिमुख करण्याचे आश्वासन

ठाणे महापालिकेच्या २०१०-११च्या बजेटमध्ये ठाणेकरांच्या अपेक्षांचे प्रतिबिंब साकारतानाच हे बजेट लोकाभिमुख कसे होईल यास प्राधान्य दिले जाईल, असे आश्वासन महापालिकेचे आयुक्त नंदकुमार जंत्रे यांनी दिले आहे. समर्थ भारत व्यासपीठ आणि ठाणे शहर दैनिक पत्रकार संघाच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने स्थापन करण्यात आलेल्या अर्थसंकल्प नागरी कृतिगटाच्या माध्यमातून लोकांच्या अपेक्षांचे संकलन करण्यात आले होते. पालिकेच्या नरेंद बल्लाळ सभागृहात झालेल्या एका कार्यक्रमात या अपेक्षांचा अहवाल आयुक्तांना सादर करण्यात आला. त्यावेळी त्यांनी ही घोषणा केली. बजेटमध्ये महिलांसाठी, गरिबांसाठी योजनांचा समावेश असेल. तसेच, अपेक्षित फलश्रुती त्यातून साध्य करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला जाईल, अशी अपेक्षा आहे. शहराच्या विकास आराखड्यातील निर्धारित उद्दीष्टांपर्यंत पोहोचण्यासाठी व्यापक कार्यक्रम हाती घेतला जाणार असल्याची घोषणाही यावेळी आयुक्तांनी केली. ठाणेकरांच्या अपेक्षा, सूचना आणि हरकतींचा मान राखूनच हा विकास आराखडा कार्यान्वित केला जाईल, असा दावाही त्यांनी केला. संपूर्ण राज्यात लोकांच्या अपेक्षा मागवून त्या बजेटमध्ये समाविष्ट करण्याचा हा पहिलाच प्रयत्न असल्याचे सांगत आयुक्तांनी त्याचे कौतुक केले.
